Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 October 2026

1. Who we are
Fetlock Industries Pty Ltd (ABN 72 689 693 338), trading as Fetlock Windmills, collects and handles personal information when you enquire about our windmill, pump, parts, restoration and related services. This policy covers enquiries through www.fetlockwindmills.com, our Facebook and Instagram lead forms, and related telephone, email and message conversations.

2. Information we collect
We collect the details you choose to provide, such as your name, telephone number, email address, preferred contact method, general locality or property address, and information about your windmill, pump or service needs. You may also provide photographs or other information relevant to your enquiry. We keep relevant correspondence, quote and booking details, and the source of the enquiry where known. Please avoid sending identity documents, payment-card details, health information or other sensitive information through enquiry forms.

3. How we collect information
We usually collect information directly from you when you submit a website form or a Facebook or Instagram instant form, telephone us, send us an email or message, or speak with us about a job. Meta may pre-fill an instant form from your account; please check the details before submitting. We may also receive an introduction from a supplier or referral partner, such as Southern Cross, where you have asked for or agreed to that introduction.

4. Why we collect and use it
We use enquiry information to contact you about your request, understand the work required, assess whether and where we can assist, prepare and follow up quotes, arrange inspections or work, and maintain relevant customer and job records. We may contact you by telephone, email or SMS, taking account of the preference you provide. We also use enquiry-source information to understand which advertising or referral channels bring suitable enquiries, resolve complaints and protect the business against misuse or fraud.

5. Your choices and follow-up
Providing enquiry information is voluntary. You can make a general enquiry without identifying yourself where practical. If you do not provide a way to contact you or the information needed to assess the work, we may be unable to respond, quote or arrange service. Submitting an enquiry asks us to respond about that enquiry; it does not automatically subscribe you to newsletters or unrelated promotional messages. Any separate marketing subscription will have its own choice and opt-out. You can ask us to stop following up an enquiry at any time using the contact details below.

6. Who can receive the information
Information may be accessed by authorised Fetlock staff and contractors who need it to handle your enquiry or deliver the requested work. We use business service providers for website hosting and forms, email and file storage, customer records and business administration, including Wix, Google Workspace and Pipedrive. Authorised automation and AI-assisted administration tools may help organise enquiries and prepare responses. We limit information used for these tasks to what is relevant and remain responsible for our handling of your information. If an enquiry becomes a job, relevant details may also be handled through our accounting system, Xero, and shared with a supplier or subcontractor where needed to arrange or deliver that work. We limit sharing to information relevant to the purpose. We do not sell enquiry contact lists. We may disclose information where required or authorised by law or where reasonably necessary to obtain professional advice or establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

7. Facebook Instagram and external services
When you submit a Facebook or Instagram lead form, Meta processes information through its own platform and makes the submitted details available to Fetlock. Our handling of the information we receive is described in this policy. Meta's own collection, use and platform settings are covered by its Privacy Policy at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/. Other linked platforms, including our separate merchandise store, may display additional privacy information for their services.

8. Overseas storage and processing
Some of our technology providers operate internationally, so information may be stored or processed outside Australia. For example, Wix identifies processing in Israel and overseas service locations including the United States and Ireland. Google, Meta and other providers also use international infrastructure and support services. The countries involved depend on the provider, service and account settings and can change. We consider privacy and security when selecting providers and limit access to what is needed for the relevant service. Contact us if you would like information about the providers used for your enquiry.

9. Website technology
Our Wix website and embedded services may collect technical information such as IP address, browser or device details, pages visited and cookie identifiers for website operation, security and available analytics. An embedded map or an external platform may also process information when it loads or you interact with it. You can manage cookies through your browser and any cookie controls offered on the site; blocking some cookies may affect functionality.

10. Storage security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect enquiry information against misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Information is held in the business systems used for correspondence, customer administration and job records, with access restricted to authorised people and service providers. No online service or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to respond and follow up, deliver services, maintain business records and meet legal or dispute-related requirements. We then take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify information that is no longer needed, subject to applicable retention requirements and backup cycles.

11. Access correction and deletion requests
You can contact us to ask what personal information we hold about you, request access or correction, or ask us to delete information we no longer need. We may need to verify your identity before responding. If we cannot grant a request, including because records must be retained, we will explain the reason and any available next steps. Please let us know if your contact details change.

12. Privacy enquiries and complaints
Contact Joesph Drumm, Director, at fetlockaustralia@gmail.com or 0434 421 736, or write to Fetlock Industries Pty Ltd, 201 Delan Road, Bullyard QLD 4671. Please describe your concern and how you would like us to contact you. We will investigate and aim to respond within 30 days. If more time is needed, we will explain why and provide an update. If you remain dissatisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au. The OAIC can explain whether it can consider your complaint.

13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or information-handling practices change. The current published version will show its last-updated date. We will take appropriate steps to explain a material change where required.
